The Danforth Islamic Centre’s Nikah Service provides Imam-led Islamic marriage officiation, guiding couples through the full nikah process with pre-marital consultation, paperwork review, and the ceremony itself at the mosque or a chosen venue. Couples must submit a booking request at least four weeks in advance, provide government-issued IDs, an Ontario marriage licence, and the contact details of two male Muslim witnesses. A pre-Nikah meeting covers key elements like mahr and conditions, and the ceremony is conducted in Arabic and English.
Off-site services may include an additional travel honorarium, and pre-marital counselling is available.
