The Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH) provides Islamic Marriage Services to help Muslim couples solemnize their marriage according to Islamic teachings and Texas state law. Couples can book a Nikah ceremony by completing the marriage application and providing the required documentation, including the bride and groom’s consent, two Muslim witnesses, and a valid Texas marriage license. ISGH requests at least one week’s notice and offers appointments with an Imam to conduct the ceremony. The organization also provides premarital training and marital enrichment sessions to help engaged and newly married couples build a strong foundation for family life. Established in 1969, ISGH serves the Greater Houston community through its network of Islamic centers, religious education, schools, Hifz programs, healthcare clinics, Zakat assistance, and funeral services.
