Northern Nevada Muslim Community (NNMC) provides marriage services for Muslim couples seeking to complete their Islamic marriage ceremony. Couples can contact the center and submit the marriage form to receive information about arranging the ceremony. NNMC also provides a downloadable Islamic Marriage Contract covering details such as the bride and groom’s information, marital status, authorized representatives, and Mahr or dowry. Marriage services are offered alongside NNMC’s other community programs, including funeral and burial assistance, Dawah and social services, New Muslim support, spiritual and family counseling, financial assistance through its Zakat Fund, and the Islamic School of Northern Nevada. Established in Nevada in 1980, NNMC is a nonprofit religious and social organization serving Muslims in the Northern Nevada community.
