The Islamic Society of Vaughan (ISV) offers Nikah (Islamic marriage) services where Sheikh Ashur Duzan, an Ontario-licensed marriage officiant, conducts the marriage ceremony and handles all legal registration paperwork with the province so couples receive both an Islamic and legally recognized marriage in one process; interested couples can select their preferred date and book an appointment by emailing the mosque’s team, who will guide them through preparation, required documents (such as valid ID and City Hall marriage licence), and ensure the ceremony follows Islamic principles including the presence of required witnesses and proper solemnization.
