The Islamic Center of Reseda in Reseda, California, offers Islamic marriage (Nikah) services for Muslim couples seeking to solemnize their marriage according to Islamic teachings. Couples must obtain a valid civil marriage license and provide a copy to the center before the ceremony. The center arranges for an Imam to perform the Nikah and requires two Muslim witnesses from the groom’s side and a guardian (Wali) for the bride, in accordance with its stated procedures. The couple must also agree on the Mahr (marital gift), which is recorded in the marriage documentation.
