ArRazzaq Islamic Center provides Nikah wedding ceremonies in accordance with Islamic requirements and North Carolina state law. The center requires the bride and groom’s free consent, an agreed Mahr, the bride’s Wali when available, and at least two Muslim male witnesses, which must be provided by the couple. A valid marriage license from the county Register of Deeds is also required, as the Nikah ceremonies are recognized as legal marriages. On the day of the ceremony, the couple must provide the marriage license, photo identification for the bride, groom, and witnesses, and documentation of the agreed Mahr. All ceremonies are held by appointment at ArRazzaq Islamic Center in Durham, North Carolina. The center also offers Islamic studies, Jumu’ah prayer, Arabic classes, and Janazah services.
