The Islamic Center of Lansing provides Islamic marriage ceremonies for Muslim couples who wish to have their Nikah performed at the center. Couples must first obtain a valid marriage license from the Ingham County Clerk’s Office and provide identification for both the bride and groom, such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. After completing these requirements, couples can contact the Islamic Center staff to schedule an appointment for their Nikah ceremony. The center’s Imam and staff help couples prepare for the ceremony and make the occasion a smooth and meaningful part of their marriage. Marriage services are offered alongside the center’s other religious and community services, including funeral arrangements, Shahada ceremonies, counseling, food pantry assistance, and community programs.
