Valley Ranch Islamic Center (VRIC) provides simple Nikah services that fulfill the religious and legal requirements of an Islamic marriage. Ceremonies are officiated by a VRIC-approved officiant and are held in the main prayer area. Couples must have a valid Texas marriage license, agree on the Mahr, identify the bride’s Wali, and provide the required identification and documents. At least one applicant must reside in Irving, Coppell, or Farmers Branch, and requests should be submitted within 90 days of the preferred date. The ceremony includes an opening Dua, Quran recitation, marriage Khutbah, confirmation of consent and Mahr, and signing of the marriage contract. VRIC also provides funeral services, financial assistance, Quran education, youth programs, a medical clinic, and community resources.
