Masjid Al-Farooq provides marriage services conducted by an Imam who is a licensed marriage officer in Ontario, allowing couples to solemnize their marriage in accordance with Islamic teachings and provincial legal requirements. To have the ceremony at the masjid, couples must first obtain a valid marriage licence from any Ontario City Hall before the scheduled date, bring the licence to the mosque, and meet requirements such as having witnesses and agreeing on the dowry (Mahr) ahead of time. The Imam completes and signs the paperwork, issues a temporary licence at the ceremony, and forwards the documents for official registration.
There is a service fee, and the ceremony is conducted with proper Islamic etiquette at the masjid.
