Muslim Youth Community Center of Raleigh-Durham (MYCC-RDU) provides Nikah services for Muslim couples who have obtained a valid marriage license from the county. The requirements include a marriage license from the Vital Records Office in downtown Raleigh or the couple’s county, a Wali of the bride, two witnesses, and photo identification. The center does not charge a fee for the Nikah service, although donations to support the masjid are welcomed. Couples can contact MYCC-RDU for additional information and to arrange the service. The center also offers Sunday School, Quran and Tajweed classes, youth programs, sports activities, food pantry services, food and clothing drives, counseling, and facility reservations.
