Clifton Mosque provides Nikah services for Muslim couples seeking to complete their Islamic marriage. Couples begin by scheduling premarital counseling, followed by obtaining an Ohio state marriage license. They can then schedule their Islamic marriage ceremony and must bring at least two male witnesses. The mosque also requires couples to provide their marriage license and details about the Mahr (dowry), including whether it will be given before, on, or after the Nikah. Marriage ceremonies are conducted at the masjid or by Zoom, while in-home Nikah services are not currently offered. Clifton Mosque has served the Cincinnati Muslim community since 1969 and also provides daily and Friday prayers, Quran learning, New Muslim guidance, Weekend School, Islamic Will resources, and family assistance.
