The Toronto Islamic Centre provides marriage registration services, where their authorised marriage registrar can officiate Islamic marriages (Nikah) in accordance with Ontario’s legal requirements once a marriage licence has been obtained from the province. Couples planning to be married must secure this civil licence first, and then contact the Centre to arrange the Nikah ceremony.
The centre’s office handles scheduling and can be reached by phone or email during regular weekday hours for appointments and further guidance on completing the process.
