MCC East Bay provides Nikah marriage services for Muslim couples in the San Francisco Bay Area. Qari Amar Bellaha officiates Nikah ceremonies, which can be held at the MCC facility, at an East Bay venue, or online for eligible local community members. Couples must provide mutual consent, two Muslim witnesses, the bride’s Wali, agreed-upon Mahr, and legal marriage documentation from a U.S. state. MCC also requires couples to complete a pre-Nikah questionnaire and Nikkah form before the ceremony. Standard ceremonies accommodate up to 12 guests, while larger gatherings require facility rental. Nikah services are part of MCC East Bay’s broader community programs, which include matrimonial gatherings, Islamic divorce services, mental health support, Zakat and Sadaqa, food pantry services, refugee support, and funeral and burial assistance.
