The Islamic Foundation of Lincoln (IFOL) provides Marriage Services for Muslim couples who wish to complete their Nikah at the masjid or have the Imam officiate their wedding ceremony. Couples are asked to schedule an appointment at least three days in advance and must meet the center’s Nikah requirements. These include freely agreeing to the marriage, deciding on the Mahr, having the bride’s Wali present, providing two Muslim witnesses, and presenting valid identification for everyone named in the marriage contract. The service is designed to help couples complete their Islamic marriage contract in an organized manner while following the requirements outlined by the Islamic Foundation of Lincoln.
