Details:
AMDA provides Islamic marriage services for Muslim couples and authorizes its Head of Religious Affairs and Activity to conduct the Nikah ceremony and issue an AMDA-authorized marriage certificate. Couples must obtain a local county marriage license, complete the Nikah Service Request Form at least seven days before the ceremony, provide valid photo identification for the bride, groom, and two witnesses, and complete a mandatory premarital counseling session. AMDA requires all paperwork and logistical arrangements to be completed before the Nikah can proceed. The service is part of AMDA’s wider community offerings, which include AMDA Academy, Maktab, funeral (Janazah) services, event reservations, and youth programs. AMDA is a nonprofit religious and charitable organization based in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
