Details:

The West End Islamic Center (WEIC) in Glen Allen, Virginia, provides Islamic marriage (Nikah) ceremonies for Muslim couples. Couples must first legally register their marriage with the local county office before arranging the Nikah. Both the bride and groom must attend the ceremony in person, along with the bride's Wali (guardian), who must be her father unless he is deceased. The center requires valid driver's licenses for the bride, groom, and Wali, proof of residential address for both spouses, and two adult Muslim male witnesses with valid identification. If either person was previously married, legal proof of divorce must also be provided. Couples must complete the marriage application form and bring the required documents on the day of the ceremony. WEIC reserves the right to refuse the ceremony if the requirements are not met.
