EPIC Masjid (East Plano Islamic Center) offers Nikah services for Muslims who wish to have their Islamic marriage conducted at the masjid. Nikahs are officiated by EPIC’s religious leadership, including Imam Nadim Bashir or Ustadh Mohamed Baajour when specifically requested and available. Couples begin by submitting an online Nikah request and required documents, after which the EPIC operations team communicates with the family, schedules a meeting to review the ceremony and requirements, and confirms approval. The Nikah is held in the main hall, which is reserved for 60 minutes. EPIC also has guidelines covering modest attire, separate seating for men and women, event timing, approved partitions, and the distribution of prepacked sweets. The service is part of EPIC’s wider community offerings, including financial aid, social services, medical care, funeral support, matrimony, and educational programs.
