Tracy Islamic Center provides marriage ceremony services for Muslim couples, performing Aqd/Nikah in accordance with Islamic principles. Couples must provide a valid marriage license, two Muslim witnesses for the groom, a guardian (Wali) for the bride, and the agreed Mahr or Sadaq, which is recorded on the marriage certificate. The center provides a designated scholar to perform the Nikah, a prescribed marriage form, a signed marriage certificate, and marriage registration. Its community hall is available for Nikah ceremonies with advance booking and availability. Tracy Islamic Center generally makes a scholar available within 72 hours after receiving a copy of the marriage license. The center also offers Quran School, Sunday School, youth and women’s programs, outreach, Zakat and Fitra, funeral services, and community facilities.
