Nikah Services at Masjid Manhattan help Muslim couples complete their Islamic marriage ceremony according to Islamic requirements. A valid Nikah requires mutual consent, a Wali for the bride, two male witnesses, and an agreed Mahr. The Nikah is performed by Imam Sheikh Mostafa, a New York City–registered marriage officiant, who can conduct both the Islamic and civil ceremonies on the same day. Couples must present a valid New York City marriage license before the Nikah. To schedule, couples submit a marriage application with identification and marriage-license documents. The total required donation is $300, with a $100 deposit and $200 balance due on the ceremony day; additional fees may apply for off-site or weekend ceremonies.
