Masjid Fallahee provides Nikkah services for Muslim couples seeking to complete their Islamic marriage at the masjid. The Imam officiates the ceremony and meets with the couple beforehand to discuss the marriage, answer questions, and finalize details such as the date, Mahr, and witnesses. The Nikkah requires mutual consent, two adult Muslim witnesses, a bride’s Wali or an arrangement with the Imam, an agreed Mahr, and a valid New Jersey civil marriage license. Couples can also request the downstairs event space for a reception or Walima, accommodating up to 100 guests with tables, chairs, kitchen access, separate seating areas, and a sound system. Masjid Fallahee is located on Clinton Avenue in Newark, New Jersey, and is open daily for the five prayers.
