Worcester Islamic Center (WIC) provides Nikah services to help Muslim couples complete their Islamic marriage ceremony at the masjid. Couples must first submit a Nikah request and obtain a valid Massachusetts marriage license before the ceremony can be performed. The required process includes providing identification for the bride, groom, bride’s Wali, and two Muslim male witnesses, along with the agreed Mahr amount. If Shaykh Vajid conducts the Nikah, a premarital counseling workshop is required. WIC normally holds Nikah ceremonies at its Worcester facility, with outside venues considered subject to availability and an additional fee. The center also offers matrimonial services, premarital counseling, funeral assistance, social services, youth programs, New Muslim classes, and educational activities.
