Masjid Fallahee provides confidential pastoral counseling with the Imam for individuals, couples, and families, including both Muslims and those seeking to learn more about Islam. The service offers guidance on premarital and marital concerns, family conflicts, parenting, faith and spiritual questions, grief and loss, divorce, conversion and new Muslim support, conflict mediation, and difficult life decisions. Counseling conversations are kept private, with limited exceptions where there is a risk of harm. The Imam can also help connect community members with Muslim mental health professionals when professional care is needed. Counseling requests are reviewed personally by the Imam, with meetings available by appointment. Masjid Fallahee also provides Janazah, Nikkah, Quran classes, and community services from its location in Newark, New Jersey.
