Premarital Counseling


Details:

Worcester Islamic Center (WIC) offers a premarital counseling workshop to help couples prepare for marriage and their upcoming Nikah. The workshop is mandatory for couples who choose Shaykh Vajid to conduct their Nikah, and it is also available to couples whose Nikah will be conducted by another Imam. The session lasts up to 1.5 hours and can be completed either in person or through Zoom. WIC requires participants to schedule the session in advance, with a $100 workshop fee payable to the Worcester Islamic Center before the meeting. Premarital counseling is part of WIC’s wider marriage-related services, which also include Nikah and matrimonial services for the local Muslim community.
