The Funeral Services at the Muslim Association of Brantford (MAB) provide compassionate, Islamic-compliant funeral and burial support for local Muslim families, with the mosque registered under the Bereavement Authority of Ontario and a dedicated team of volunteers helping guide loved ones through every step of the process.
Services offered free of charge by MAB include ghusl (ritual washing), use of freezer and facilities, free coffin, and coordination in line with Islamic teachings, though families are responsible for cemetery-related costs such as burial permits and municipal fees — MAB also assists with paperwork, coordinating janaza arrangements, and offers reserved cemetery space at Oak Hill Cemetery while encouraging community donations to sustain the service.
