Nejashi Islamic Center of Canada provides Islamic-style funeral services for eligible members, assisting families through the entire process from the transportation of the deceased (from home, hospital, or mosque) to their funeral room (with body fridge), arranging ghusl (washing) with guidance for the family, and supplying the coffin and kafan (shroud); they coordinate with the cemetery, obtain the burial permit and government death certificates, offer family counseling to help cope with loss, and can help organize taziah gatherings after the burial, with membership requirements and coverage details outlined in their service policy.
