Assalam Mosque provides compassionate and dignified Janazah (funeral) services to the Muslim community in Ottawa, Ontario, assisting families with all key aspects of the Islamic funeral process in accordance with traditional rites; this includes helping with the ghusl (ritual washing) and kafan (shrouding) of the deceased, arranging and facilitating the Janaza prayer, coordinating burial arrangements, and offering emotional and logistical support to grieving families during their time of loss, with the mosque available to assist during its operating hours and by contacting the designated funeral coordinator.
