Markham Masjid’s Funeral Services team operating as a licensed funeral operator in Ontario provides comprehensive support for Muslim families during bereavement, including 24/7 funeral coordination, pickup of the deceased from hospitals, coroners, or homes, help with all required paperwork (death certificates, burial forms, permits), washing and shrouding the body according to Islamic rites, organizing the Janazah (funeral prayer) after Zuhr/Asr, arranging transportation of the casket to the cemetery, and issuing multiple proof-of-death certificates for legal and administrative purposes, with costs covering documentation, transportation, the wooden casket, and shroud (grave and cemetery charges are extra).
