Details:

The Islamic Association of Raleigh (IAR) provides Pastoral Care and Counseling Referral Services to support the personal, family, behavioral, and mental wellness of the Muslim community. A team of qualified volunteers and Muslim health professionals helps community members access appropriate mental health support and referrals. The service also focuses on confidential assistance, awareness, and education about mental health and social issues. IAR offers a mental health resource directory and free referral appointments, which are specifically for referral purposes rather than therapy. Additional wellness services include hospital visits and free emotional and behavioral wellness workshops for community groups. IAR serves the Muslim community across the Triangle region of North Carolina as a masjid, school, and community gathering place.
