The Islamic Society of Greater Lansing provides counseling and mediation support for families and individuals facing personal or family challenges. The service assists with issues such as children’s behavioral concerns, misunderstandings, marital problems, and other situations that may place stress on families. The center can also assist families dealing with divorce when differences cannot be resolved, providing support according to the circumstances of each case. Counseling is part of the society’s broader community services, which include matrimonial services, funeral services, refugee programs, wellness initiatives, Islamic education, Arabic classes, and support for new Muslims. The Islamic Society of Greater Lansing is located at 920 S Harrison Road in East Lansing, Michigan.
