The Islamic Institute of Minnesota provides counseling services to support community members facing personal or domestic challenges. The service offers guidance during times of crisis and includes coping support for concerns such as anxiety, as well as pre-marital counseling for those preparing for marriage. The counseling program is intended to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges while supporting their overall well-being. Counseling is part of the Institute’s wider community services, which include funeral arrangements, marriage ceremonies, Zakat distribution, divorce services, community programs, and Islamic education through Al-Noor Saturday School and Alibdaa Sunday School. The Islamic Institute of Minnesota has served the local Muslim community since 2008 from its Burnsville Masjid.
