The Huntsville Islamic Center (HIC) in Huntsville, Alabama, offers Community Outreach initiatives that encourage community service, strengthen relationships, and support individuals and families. Through its outreach activities, HIC promotes volunteer involvement, youth engagement, and opportunities to contribute to the wider community. The center also provides Zakat and Sadaqah assistance to eligible individuals and families facing financial difficulties, helping with essential needs such as food, housing, and medical expenses. Its youth programs encourage young Muslims to develop leadership skills, build positive relationships, and participate in community service projects. In addition to outreach, HIC supports the Muslim community through daily prayers, Quran and Tajweed classes, weekend Islamic school, religious reminders, and educational activities. Serving the Tennessee Valley region since 1990, HIC works to create a welcoming community grounded in faith, service, and mutual support.
