The Islamic Society of Northwest Ohio (ISNWO) supports food assistance programs serving Muslims and others in need throughout Toledo and Northwest Ohio. Through the Islamic Food Bank of Toledo and its Mobile Food Bank, the organization distributes Seagate Food Bank food baskets, Weekender Food Bags for at-risk elementary school students, snacks for children at Chase Academy, Ramadan meals, and hot meals through its monthly Mobile Food Bank program. The organization also responds to miscellaneous and emergency food requests. Its programs distribute 10,000 or more meals annually, helping address food insecurity among families, children, and individuals in the community. ISNWO also plans to develop additional food services focused on health, nutrition, and community catering, while welcoming volunteers and food-service partners.
