The World Islamic Mission Canada’s Food Bank Services page explains that feeding the hungry is a highly virtuous act in Islam, supported by teachings from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Qur’an. The Masjid Noor-UL-Haram runs the food bank to help community members in need, offering essential food items such as rice or pasta, oil, flour, canned goods, and lentils
Those interested in receiving support are asked to pre-register by calling the Masjid, with regular distribution on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and emergency pick-ups available by appointment.
