Details:
Yaseen Foundation in the San Francisco Bay Area operates a monthly Food Distribution program to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Through partnerships with Support Life Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank, the foundation distributes free groceries at its Yaseen Burlingame Center and Yaseen Belmont Masjid. Support Life Foundation holds its distribution on the third Friday of each month in Burlingame, while Second Harvest Food Bank’s distribution at the Belmont location takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month. Eligible individuals can register on-site to receive groceries, and community members aged 15 and older can volunteer to help with food distribution. Through these initiatives, Yaseen Foundation works to make essential food supplies accessible to people in need. The foundation also supports the community through Quran Academy, Al-Iman Sunday School, funeral assistance, matrimonial services, Zakat support, and programs for new Muslims.
