Omar Mosque provides a weekly Food Pantry to support community members who are experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship. The pantry is available every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, providing food assistance as part of the mosque’s wider community support services. Omar Mosque also distributes Zakat to eligible community members and offers a community kitchen with free meals for those in need, along with an Iftar sponsorship program and community dinners. Other services include daily prayers, Quran and Islamic education, youth and family programs, counseling, funeral support, immigrant assistance, and religious guidance. Located at 501 Getty Ave in Paterson, New Jersey, Omar Mosque serves the local Muslim community through religious, educational, and social programs.
