Nigerian American Islamic Mission (NAIM), provides a monthly food pantry to support people in need within the Newark community. Members of the masjid help distribute food to those facing food insecurity as part of NAIM’s wider commitment to community service and charitable support. The Food Pantry is one of the masjid’s community programs, alongside Islamic education, weekly Tafsir and Quran study sessions, youth programs, marriage services, and various community events. NAIM also organizes fundraising efforts to support people affected by natural disasters and other humanitarian needs. Masjid Mubarak is located at 221 Bergen Street in Newark, New Jersey, and serves as a place for Muslims to worship, learn, and participate in community activities.
