Islah LA operates a weekly food pantry serving the South Los Angeles community, including the local 90043 neighborhood and surrounding areas. The pantry was created in response to food insecurity and the challenges faced by families living in areas with limited access to fresh and healthy food. Through partnerships with Islamic Relief and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Islah LA provides fresh, healthy food and essential groceries to local community members. The program is part of Islah LA’s broader mission of supporting families and underserved communities through food assistance, housing, Zakat support, counseling, education, and other social services. Islah LA is a Muslim-led community organization serving South Los Angeles through faith, education, family support, civic engagement, and economic empowerment.
