The Islamic Society of Tulsa (IST) operates a food pantry program to provide essential food supplies to families and individuals facing food insecurity. The pantry is affiliated with the Oklahoma Food Bank, helping IST access a variety of nutritious food items for the community. Volunteers organize and distribute food packages in an efficient, respectful, and confidential manner. The program also accepts donations of canned and dry foods through an on-site drop box, with donors asked to check expiration dates before donating. IST also provides an Emergency Food Assistance Program and an application for food pantry assistance. This service is part of the Islamic Society of Tulsa’s wider community programs, which include financial services, funeral and Nikah services, matrimony, a medical clinic, New Muslim support, community resources, and Islamic education.
