Food Pantry
Muslim Center of Montgomery
Details:
The Muslim Center of Montgomery, Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama, operates a Food Pantry Distribution program to help individuals and families access essential food supplies. Established in 2010 through a partnership with the Montgomery Area Food Bank, the pantry distributes food quarterly on a first-come, first-served basis. The center also operates a Clothes Closet during its quarterly food pantry distribution, providing free clothing to community members. Donations and volunteers help support these community assistance programs. In addition to food and clothing assistance, the center offers weekly Jumu’ah prayers, Ta’leem (Islamic teaching and learning) sessions, adult Islamic studies, and youth Islamic studies and Arabic classes. Through its charitable services and religious education programs, the Muslim Center of Montgomery works to serve the wider community and support people in need.
