Outreach Services at the Islamic Center of Maryland (ICM) focus on introducing people to Islam, building relationships with other communities, and encouraging positive community engagement. The Outreach Committee covers Dawah and Islamic education, interfaith relationships, community mobilization and training, social and civic engagement, and external relations with Muslim, secular, and other faith-based organizations. ICM also offers mosque visits, educational information about Islam and the Quran, and a New Muslim Welcome Package. Volunteers can participate in outreach activities at different levels, from giving presentations and coordinating programs to helping with event support.
