The Muslim Society of Guelph’s Matrimonial Services help Guelph residents arrange their Islamic marriage (Nikah) with the support of one of the mosque’s three licensed marriage officiants — Imam Mubeen Butt, Imam Ibrahim Gangat, and Iftikher Sheikh — ensuring the ceremony is conducted according to both Islamic tradition and Ontario legal requirements. Couples wishing to use this service must first obtain a civil marriage licence issued within Ontario before contacting the masjid to set a date and time for the Nikah.

The service is currently limited to weddings with a maximum of 40 guests and follows public health guidelines as applicable.
