Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center (AAIC) provides matrimonial services for Muslim families seeking to arrange an Islamic marriage. Applicants are required to complete a matrimonial application and provide valid identification for the bride and groom, along with identification for two witnesses. The process also requires a Wallee (woman’s guardian) and an agreed Mahr. The center lists a fee as to be determined. Matrimonial Services are part of AAIC’s wider community offerings, which include Islamic marriage, couples counseling, conflict resolution, education, youth and social activities, community outreach, and Dawah and social services. Founded in 1998, AAIC serves the Muslim community in the Twin Cities from its Minneapolis location.
