The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC) provides matrimonial and marriage services for Muslims in the Oklahoma City community. Couples planning an Islamic marriage must obtain an Oklahoma State Marriage License from an Oklahoma courthouse at least one or two days before their marriage appointment. A valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, and two witnesses are also required. Couples can schedule an appointment with the Imam and bring the marriage license to the masjid on the day of the appointment. ISGOC also offers pre-marriage counseling as part of its wider community services, along with family and youth counseling, food pantry support, youth and sisters’ programs, weekly classes, Dawah, and community service. The masjid is located in Oklahoma City and serves the wider metropolitan Muslim community.
