The Islamic Society of Greater Kansas City (ISGKC) provides matrimonial services to help Muslim couples complete their marriage contract through the Islamic Center. The process begins by obtaining a marriage application from the appropriate county Marriage Bureau and informing the bureau that the marriage will take place at ISGKC. After receiving the application, couples can schedule an appointment with the Islamic Center. For the appointment, the couple must bring the marriage application, photo identification, two witnesses, and the bride’s Wali or Wakeel, such as her father, older brother, or another representative. ISGKC also provides Quran education, youth programs, Islamic activities, burial services, and other community services for Muslims in the Greater Kansas City area.
