Why Can't You Pray Eid Right After Fajr?

Eid Salah cannot be performed immediately after Fajr (dawn prayer). Islamically, the prayer window opens only after the sun has risen fully and a short time approximately 10 to 20 minutes has passed. The Sunnah Acts of Eid ul Adha Morning

The morning of Eid ul Adha is one of the most spiritually charged mornings of the year. The Prophet ﷺ taught us specific actions to make the most of it. Performing these Sunnah acts before heading to prayer transforms the Eid morning into a complete act of worship.

  Recite the Eid Takbeer from Fajr of Arafah Day From Fajr of the 9th Dhul Hijjah (the day before Eid), begin reciting the Takbeer Tashreeq after every Fard prayer and throughout the day: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illAllahu wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.   Do Not Eat Before Eid Prayer on Eid ul Adha Unlike Eid ul Fitr (where eating before prayer is Sunnah), on Eid ul Adha it is recommended to delay eating until after the Qurbani has been performed, and ideally to eat from the sacrificed meat first. This is the established Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
