Toronto is home to many mosques and even fewer Islamic Centres. There resided a great need to establish a community centre in the heart of downtown Toronto. Seeing this need, in 2010, a group of brothers along with assistance and support from the local community were able to rent a 2,000 Sq feet unit. This was the beginning of Toronto Islamic Centre (TIC).
